Now, the children all love Oreo. It is their absolute favorite. They do not all love Neapolitan. No. 1 son only likes the vanilla, no. 2 only likes the chocolate and the vanilla and no. 3 likes all three well enough except strawberry is a distant third, and pouts that he usually ends up with it because the other two go faster, and we won't buy any more ice cream until that gallon is all gone.
So of course I get the Oreo that everyone likes and no one fights over, right?
Wrong! That would be spoiling them. Somehow it's more fun if there's the inconvenience of the gallon tub in the crowed freezer with the little wedge of strawberry stuck in there for weeks. Besides, I need them to be prepared to enter the real world one day, where sometimes you have to eat a lot of s(trawberry).
I would buy my (hypothetical) family:
Those brats don't get ice cream.
We're all latcose intolerant/won't somebody think of the cows?
Edited to add: Nos. 2 and 3 have both decided they like strawberry just fine. They're so good and so smart! *beams at them*
