Five Minutes Hate

Baby-boomer author gives herself huge pats on the back (and wrote a book about it, of course) for "downsizing" to a place larger than our family of five's for just her and her husband.

"Stretching, Ciji Ware can almost reach both sides of her kitchen. She and her husband now use only one set of dishes." (Accompanied by picture of her stretching her arms out in the kitchen, both hands several feet away from any wall.)

I don't need to tell you all how much I enjoyed this week's SFWeekly article, "Boomtastrophe": Baby Boomers hoped to die before they got old. They lied. I do resent that people born after 1960 (give or take) are lumped in with boomers. I am definitely not a boomer no matter what demographics say, being born in late 1964. I'm the from the first wave of Generation X, and I hate everything.
