Reason no. 3,742 why no matter no matter how much I complain, I'm probably staying put:

Today on my way home* I walked by the Plough and Stars** and thought to myself, "ah that good boozy bar smell. If the little ones weren't waiting for their supper, I'd go in and have a pint." And I peeked in enviously, and of course the place was packed to the gills with people watching the gubernatorial debate.

That's my town! We loves our politics and we loves our booze! Two great tastes that taste great together.

*Doing those after work errands like buying more school supplies and picking up dinner on foot.

Just ran across this picture of Serena, I'd seen her in this outfit before but she looks soooo cute here:

Some 1389 comments and counting, this is more than even the "three posts for free users" debacle. It takes all of two seconds to change it back, but some people just have to have their say, I guess.

*Oh bloody hell, I spend 364 days a year reminding people that it is fucked up to use "gay" as a pejorative, and I have children who ride the short bus (they're not retarded, but I'm in solidarity) so let me have my one off day. In fact, I think I will use "Gayer and More Retarded" as my lj name for now.
